Establishing the companies: Building a tradition
Back in 1977, when Thailand was still mainly an agricultural economy,
far-sightedness played a
major role in awakening the potential of the
Pacific Rim region.This, in turn, catapulted Thailand into becoming the
burgeoning industrialized
society of today.
Recognizing the need for professional transportation for the movement
of goods to and from Thailand, on 8 August 1977,
Anusak Inthraphuvasak, Kritsanant Palarit and Khlang Tantimongkolsuk,
the three far-sighted vision businessmen formed Commercial Transportation
International Co., Ltd. better known as CTI, with initial registered capital
of one million Bath and gradually increased to 60 million Baht.CTI became
the first Thai freight forwarding company in the kingdom providing full
range of freight-related services.

CTI's success was phenomenal. Only two years into its
operation, generating the highest gross
freight sales in Thailand, the company was already approved as an IATA
Cargo Agent, starting a momentum of growth that has
continuously maintained an upward trend.
Positioned as one of the top five leading agencies in Thailand for many
years now,
CTI has held the number-one spot since 1984.
Furthermore, CTI was recorded as the highest revenue-contributor for TG's
agencies worldwide --- not only in the Cargo Sales Area as the record
also out performed those in the Passenger Sales Agencies.
The corporate philosophy of the CTI Group is based on its

both locally and internationally. Over the past two and a half decades,
